Local Policing Plan

Photo

Our Local Policing Plan is based on our three pillars of policing for Sussex and incorporates our performance targets for 2011 and 2012. We consult widely with the public whom we serve to establish what is really wanted and needed rather than making assumptions about our communities.

The Plan explains our goals, our priorities and what you can do if you feel we've not lived up to any of our promises. As well as addressing the present demands on Sussex Police, we use the Local Policing Plan to look to the future: we plan ahead on technology, police stations, vehicles, people and the environment to ensure that we are equipped to meet challenges as they arise and that we do so as efficiently as possible.

All the Local Policing Plan material is only available in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). In order to view these files, you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free utility available for download from the Adobe website.

The Local Policing Plan is intended to be an interactive document and to get the full experience from it, we recommend that you save the Plan to your desktop rather than viewing it in your web browser.
