At Sussex Police, we are committed to providing you with an open and honest service. Here you can find information on how we're doing as a Force, how we make decisions and what we're spending money on.

How we're doing

We're constantly setting ourselves targets so that we can serve you in the best way possible. We do this by gathering statistics on specific areas and making sure that they're on target. You can now look at these daily statistics.

Use the postcode finder on the left hand side of any page on our website to find out more about what we're doing in your neighbourhood. If you want to explore crime figures in your area go to police.uk.

We need your feedback to help us provide a good service. Have your say about how you think Sussex Police are doing.

Budget and expenses

We use taxpayer's money to fund what we do for Sussex and it's within your rights to see how we use it. Take a look at our force budget, fees and contracts.

Your right to information

You have a right to request information from us and, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we have a duty to provide this to you - within reason.

You can also access personal information about yourself under The Data Protection act 1998.

How we make decisions

We make decisions based on what matters to you and we constantly set ourselves targets to reach. Where possible, the way that we reach decisions are available to you.

Policies and procedures

As an organisation, the way we work is structured around a set of policies and procedures. You can view these policies to see the way our Force operates.
