Under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000 any person operating a private flight to or from a UK airport flying to or from the Channel Isles, the Irish Republic, Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man must notify the police at least 12 hours in advance of that flight.
Using the General Aviation Form (GAR), available to download below, those operating such flights must complete the details required and e mail it to portunit.gatwick@sussex.pnn.police.uk
