Fingerprints for immigration and clearance purposes

The Sussex Police Fingerprint Bureau offers a fingerprinting service for anyone requiring fingerprints to be taken for the following reasons:


Applicants need to produce a valid passport. This must be the original document and is the only acceptable form of identification.

The fee for the service is £60 for the first set and £30 for each additional set and must be paid by cash.

The service is available by appointment only between the following times (excluding bank holidays):

Monday to Friday: 0800-1600

Directions:  The building is adjacent to the ASDA superstore. Bus services from Brighton City Centre are 5b, 24, 26 and some 46 buses also stop close by. By car the Bureau is easily accessible from the A27 Brighton by-pass (exit at the Hollingbury Industrial Estate turn-off).

Please note, fingerprints for these purposes can only be taken by our Bureau staff. Under no circumstances can they be taken by non-bureau staff at any other location.
