If you are a vulnerable adult suffering abuse…

You do not have to suffer abuse in silence; we can and will help you.

If you are in immediate danger or need urgent medical attention, dial 999 for the police and an ambulance.

Emergency contact for people with hearing or speech impairment

If you are not in immediate danger, call Sussex Police on 101 or visit your local police station. If you do not feel confident about contacting the police, ask a trusted friend or relative to help you or contact your local Adult Social Care services in your Local Authority.

If you suspect a vulnerable adult is being abused…

If you believe someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical attention, dial 999 for the police and an ambulance.  Then contact Adult Social Care services in your Local Authority.

Emergency contact for people with hearing or speech impairment

If no-one is in immediate danger but you are concerned that abuse is taking place, contact Adult Social Care services in your Local Authority.
