What is a hate crime?
This is a crime that is motivated by prejudice against a group of people. For example, hate crime could be motivated by prejudice against a person's race, sexual orientation, religion or disability.

To report hate crime, call the Sussex Police Contact Centre on 101 or visit your local police station.

In an emergency, call 999 immediately.
