Report honour-based violence
'Honour-based' violence is a crime or incident committed with the perception that it protects or defends the honour of a family or community.
To report 'honour-based' violence, call Sussex Police on 101 or visit your local police station.
In an emergency, call 999 immediately
It's an emergency:
- If life is threatened
- If people are injured
- If offenders are nearby
- If immediate action is required

If you or someone you know is being forced into a marriage either in the UK or abroad, please contact either Sussex Police on 101, or the Forced Marriage Unit on 020 7008 0151 or by emailing fmu@fco.gov.uk
If you know of children you believe to be at risk of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), or of people you believe are carrying out FGM, please contact Sussex Police on 101.
