Lewes Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team comes under Lewes District Neighbourhood Policing Team

The District Commander is Chief Inspector Rob Leet

The team is comprised of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Special Constables and staff members who are all dedicated to working together with local partnership agencies and communities to keep Sussex safe.

We work closely with local people to identify neighbourhood priorities and work on solutions and actions to address these priorities. If you would like to get involved in priority setting for your community please contact your PC or PCSO.

Your officers are readily available at local meetings and events, via phone, email or by visiting a local Police Station, Public Contact Point, or Community Hub.


Lewes Police Station Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 10:00am - 2:00pm, Closed Saturday,Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Bank Holidays

To report non-urgent crimes or incidents please call 101.

Passing patrols have been organised through the night. Glynde Parish have been spoken to and have been provided with security information and advice to share with residents in the Parish magazine and at a meeting.

FIRLE - Reports of suspicious person(s) in gardens and trying doors in village

We are encouraging residents to report through 101 or Sussex police websites so incidents are properly reported. Organised passing patrols through the night. Firle Parish spoken with and have been provided with security information and advice to share with residents in the Parish.
