Local priorities

Priority 1. Inconsiderate parking on the Malling estate and around Sussex Police Headquarters.

Issue raised on 2 Apr 2014

Local officers will continue to monitor the situation, issuing advice, warnings and fixed penalty notices when necessary. Members of the public are asked to report inconsiderate, illegal or anti-social parking to police on 101, on the Sussex Police website or via www.operationcrackdown.org.

Priority 2. Slight increase in shoplifting in the Lewes Town Centre

Local Officers are carrying out regular foot patrols and targetting shoplifter, meetings with local shopkeepers are being held to loom at re introducing Shop Watch.
