Crawley assault - victim still critical

Detectives, investigating a serious assault outside the Centaur
Club, Langley Green, Crawley, on Saturday evening (21 August), say
the victim, a 30-year-old Polish man, is still in a critical
condition.
The man, who is believed to be from the Crawley area, was assaulted
at about 11.20pm on Saturday night outside the club, where a
private party was being held. It is believe that he was hit with a
metal implement and during the assault suffered serious head
injuries for which he is being treated in a London hospital.
DI Pierre Serra, investigating the assault, said: "We still
interviewing a 28-year-old man from Westerham who was arrested on
the night, and are seeking two other men in relation to the
assault, one of whom we have identified. The three women we had
arrested have been released on police bail for further
enquiries.
" We are viewing CCTV coverage and are actively seeking witnesses
who may have seen a disturbance at the club entrance that night or
the assault itself. We are working closely with the club and ask
that anyone with information contacts police on 0845 60 70 999
