Man charged after Brighton doorman assaulted

A man has been charged after a Brighton doorman was stabbed in the leg in Manchester Street, after arguing with doorstaff outside Audio nighclub at around 1.30am on Sunday 29 August.

Mustafa Metrame, 41, of Greenleaf Way, Harrow, Middlesex, appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Monday 30 August and has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, possessing a knife in a public place and possessing cannabis.

Metrame has been released on conditional bail to reappear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on October 12.
