Appeal for information after man found with serious head injury in Brighton

Sussex Police is seeking help from the public after a man was found with a serious head injury at about 6.30am on Saturday (16 July).
The man was found lying on the pavement in Chatham Place, near to the juction with Howard Terrace.
It is believed he had left Trafalgar Street at about 4.10am and walked to Chatham Place. The exact route he took is currently unknown, but he is thought to have walked past Brighton Railway Station.
The man is white, aged 39-years-old and of a thin build with dark hair. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
Detective Sergeant Helen Paine, of Brighton and Hove CID said: "The man remains in a serious condition in hospital today and we are working to establish exactly how he may have received this injury.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen this male walking in Brighton between 4am and 6.30am on Saturday."
