Man attacked in Seaford club

Police are seeking witnesses after a man was attacked in a
Seaford club.
The 20-year old local man was in the Trek
Club, Blatchington Road, Seaford, shortly before 2am on
Saturday 28 January, when a fight broke out involving several
people, in the course of which he was struck in the face by another
man. He was taken by ambulance to Eastbourne District General
Hospital where it was confirmed that his jaw had been broken. He
was discharged from hospital on Saturday afternoon after an
operation.
The suspect is described as white, about 5'11, with dark
short hair, and in his mid-twenties. He was wearing a blue hooded
top with writing printed on the front.
There were no reports of any other injuries and nobody was
arrested at the time.
Detective Constable Claire Langley said; "We are still
establishing what led up to this very nasty attack, which has left
the victim with a most severe injury. We would like to hear from
anyone who was in the club and saw what happened, or from anyone
else who may know who the attacker is. If you can help please
