Two charged over charity box thefts in Brighton

A local man and woman have been charged with a string of
charity box thefts from shops and restaurants in Brighton.
Martin Grimshaw, 42, of Marine Parade, Brighton was
charged with nine counts of theft and Marish Maria
Donegan, 27, also of Marine Parade was charged with five
counts of assisting an offender.
The thefts occured between November 2011 and January
2012.
Grimshaw and Donegan were arrested yesterday (2
February) and are due to appear before Brighton Magistrate's
Court this morning (3 February).
