The Sussex Police Charitable Trust (SPCT) is a registered members' charity (no 257564) providing support to Sussex Police Officers, Staff, Special Constables, Pensioners, and their dependent family members when experiencing difficult times.

The Trust relies on subscriptions from members, donations and legacies in order to provide a unique and valuable service.

To access support you must be a member.  We keep this cost as low as possible and costs just £2.50 per month.

Serving Officers and Staff: please print and complete this joining form.

Special Constables: please contact us for a joining form.

Forms should then be sent to SPCT, Sussex Police HQ, Church Lane, Lewes, BN7 2DZ.

Last year over 600 members contacted us for support.  We were able to assist by providing advice, financial support and recuperative breaks.

Here's a small sample of the invaluable help we've been able to give our members:

• Hospital travel and parking costs

• Emergency accommodation

• Essential household items

• Legal issues

• Recognised therapies (such as physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture)

• Mobility problems

• Emergency childcare

• Illness and injury

• Debt problems

• Relationship problems

And more…..

"The Sussex Police Charitable Trust have been amazing. The Trust Adviser offered great support and has really made what was, and continues to be, a very stressful time for us a lot easier. The Trust has spent considerable funds in support of our family and are always there offering help with seemingly little things such as assistance through other organisations. They are there for all of us that work for Sussex Police - If you're not a member I really recommend you join.  We are very lucky to have this level of support here at Sussex Police."
