Car stolen in Eastbourne burglary

29 November 2012

During the night of Sunday to Monday, 18 to 19 November, a house was entered in Quantock Close, Eastbourne, and keys to the victim's silver Mercedes E350 Coupe, index X2 PWW, were.stolen from the hall. A Mini saloon car parked on the drive of the house was moved to one side and the Mercedes was then driven off the drive. It has not yet been found.
 
Detective Constable Gary Baker said; "Anyone who has seen this car, or who has any other information, is asked to contact us via 101 quoting serial 0091. You can also call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
 
"This is also a reminder to residents not to leave their car keys on view overnight. Please hide them away securely."
