Did you see a car in Crawley with flashing blue lights?
24 December 2012
Police are keen to speak to members of the public who may have
seen a black Vauxhall Zafira displaying large emergency style blue
lights on its roof sometime between 10:30am and 11.30am on Friday
21 December on the A2220, Horsham Road.
The Zafira, driven by a local man, was involved in a single
vehicle, damage only collision, between Bewbush Manor Roundabout
and Breezehurst Drive Roundabout.
PC Mark Stoner from the Roads Policing Unit said: "We are trying
to establish if the car was displaying flashing blue lights prior
to it ending up in a ditch on the side of the road. I would appeal
to anyone who may have seen the car come off the road and thought
it was a police or ambulance emergency vehicle to please get in
touch. You can call 101 and quote serial 661 of 21/12 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk."
