Pedestrian injured in Chichester collision

An elderly pedestrian received serious injuries in a collision
in Chichester on Sunday afternoon.
Shortly after midday a collision took place in Stockbridge
Road between a red Honda Accord and a 94-year-old local
man.
The pedestrian suffered from serious head and shoulder
injuries and was taken to St Richard's Hospital for treatment,
where he remains.
The driver of the Honda, a 30-year-old man from Chichester,
was not injured in the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Sussex
Police on 101 quoting Operation Arbour.
