Tribute to Sam Medland

19 February 2013

A tribute to Sam Medland has been released by her family.
Sam died following an incident in Queen Square, Brighton, on Sunday 17 February. Ty Medland has been charged with Sam's murder and is due to appear in court on Wednesday 20 February.
Sam's mother Amelia Shah said: "My daughter Sam was always a ray of sunshine to those she met.
"Her untimely death has touched so many people, including the medical staff who tried to save her life.

"Sam leaves behind mum, dad, her sisters Teresa and Lisa Jo Saphirre and her brother Ali and so many friends. She also leaves her niece Rosalie-Jayne and nephew Tyler-Jay.

"She will be greatly missed by us all. We would now like to be left to grieve our loss in peace."
