Man arrested following assault at Brighton property

A 58-year-old man has been arrested following an attack on a 57-year-old man, who is known to him, at a property in Down Terrace, Brighton on the 18 February.

Police were called to the house at around 10:20pm. The victim was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment to a fractured arm.
Detective Constable Aran Boyt from Brighton and Hove CID said: "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and heard or saw any suspicious activity to please get in touch by calling 101 and quoting serial 1676 of 18/2 or leave an anonymous message with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

A 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm has been bailed until 8 April pending further enquiries.
