Battle Police donation to Ninfield Local History Group

21 February 2013

Battle Police has donated £200 to Ninfield Local History Group to fund their Oral History Project.

PCSO Daryl Holter said: "The group will be using these funds to finance voice recorders. They plan to record the memories of the village's residents so that they are not forgotten and can be documented for the future. This is a great cause that will benefit the area for years to come."

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
