Lewes Bonfire Night 2013

25 October 2013

The annual Lewes Bonfire celebration is one of the largest bonfire events in the country.

Tuesday 5 November will see thousands of people attend the event in Lewes and both Sussex Police and British Transport Police will be on hand to assist the public and minimise the risk of crime and disorder. Additional fire crews and paramedics will be on standby to attend any incidents.

For the first time ever people will also be able to find out how close partnership work with the local community and all the agencies involved help to make this unique event as safe and fun as possible. Video will be streamed live via the Sussex Police website between 6pm and 8pm with interviews from people involved in the planning and multi-agency operation and a live web chat allowing viewers to ask questions about the night.

Visit www.sussex.police.uk on the night to get involved.
