What we did -
A revised approach to the advertising of the panel will take place over the next few weeks. This will consist of a revisit to the membership list and letters will be sent to all those currently listed asking if they still wished to be included in the mailing.
We will also make more use of other media types (i.e - local paper etc) to advertise the panel and raise awareness of its existance.Leaflet drops will be arranged with the cadets also to ensure a wider coverage of the Maze Hill area.
Advertising the panel. Promote panel at all opportunities using cadets and other methods. To work on a more identifiable logo for the panel.

Crime Mapper
Go to Crime mapper site
Crime mapping is part of a national initiative to enable members of the public to be apprised of crime levels in their area. The Sussex Police system provides crime levels at three levels: Force-wide, Districts, Wards/beats
How to read crime mapping data
For some smaller areas, the crime rates may appear high. This is primarily due to the low resident population within these areas; crime rates are calculated by dividing the actual number of crimes by the resident population and then multiplying by 1,000. Crime levels are then calculated using standard deviation, a way of fairly measuring and comparing the spread of crime across the force from area to area.
