Local priorities
Parking around the local schools was causing problems at dropping off and picking up times. There have been no further panel meetings since April 2010 because the community do not wish to have them at this time. So the priorities will remain same and we will continue to keep in contact.
Issue raised on 25 Apr 2012
PCSO Georghiou sends out warning letters, cones have been placed where it is unacceptable to park to assist in advising people where they can and can’t park and regular patrols are carried out as this is now the highest priority. Letters have also been sent out.
The situation continues to improve and PCSO Georghiou is continuing to liaise with the parents and the school.

Crime Mapper
Go to Crime mapper site
Crime mapping is part of a national initiative to enable members of the public to be apprised of crime levels in their area. The Sussex Police system provides crime levels at three levels: Force-wide, Districts, Wards/beats
How to read crime mapping data
For some smaller areas, the crime rates may appear high. This is primarily due to the low resident population within these areas; crime rates are calculated by dividing the actual number of crimes by the resident population and then multiplying by 1,000. Crime levels are then calculated using standard deviation, a way of fairly measuring and comparing the spread of crime across the force from area to area.
