Parking;what you said:Parking in Rotherfield square....A number of vehicles have been parking on the pavement blocking the path making it difficult for members of the public to make full use of the pavement area .One hour limited waiting outside General Store also needs to be enforced.

What we did ;We regularly patrol the area, and will record all details of any cars parked blocking the public foot path or overstayin the two hour limit. Warning letters will be sent to those responsible, followed by enforcement if required. Checked on parking this morning no vehicles parked in the bay at 0900 or 0930 hours.

Crime Mapper

Go to Crime mapper site

Crime mapping is part of a national initiative to enable members of the public to be apprised of crime levels in their area. The Sussex Police system provides crime levels at three levels: Force-wide, Districts, Wards/beats

How to read crime mapping data

For some smaller areas, the crime rates may appear high. This is primarily due to the low resident population within these areas; crime rates are calculated by dividing the actual number of crimes by the resident population and then multiplying by 1,000. Crime levels are then calculated using standard deviation, a way of fairly measuring and comparing the spread of crime across the force from area to area.
