Parking in Polegate.
Issue raised on 24 Feb 2012
I have issued 16 tickets this week to illegally parked vehicles, i have also issued 3 tickets to vehicles with out of date tax discs.
I also attended a SLR meeting with Highways and have asked them if there is any chance of re painting some of the double yellow lines in some of the areas where parking is an issue, i have been asked to send an e mail to confirm which roads need re doing.
At the meeting i have asked if some roads can have the pot holes re done and also some of the roads need re surfacing, this is still yet to be confirmed.

Crime Mapper
Go to Crime mapper site
Crime mapping is part of a national initiative to enable members of the public to be apprised of crime levels in their area. The Sussex Police system provides crime levels at three levels: Force-wide, Districts, Wards/beats
How to read crime mapping data
For some smaller areas, the crime rates may appear high. This is primarily due to the low resident population within these areas; crime rates are calculated by dividing the actual number of crimes by the resident population and then multiplying by 1,000. Crime levels are then calculated using standard deviation, a way of fairly measuring and comparing the spread of crime across the force from area to area.
