A man faces sentencing after a jury found him guilty of historic sexual offences against two young children in Sussex.
Jason Slaughter, 35, of Eastleigh, stood trial at Lewes Crown Court from 4 September to 7 September after denying three counts of assaulting a boy under 13 by touching and two counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching.
On 7 September, the jury found him guilty of all five counts of sexual assault.
The court heard how the offences were committed against the victims in 2006 at an address in Yapton.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Julie Leseure said: “This case was reported to us in 2019 and the victims have shown incredible bravery throughout the four-year investigation.
“We hope that this result gives victims of sexual assault the confidence to report to us. We take every report of sexual assault seriously, no matter how long ago the offence was.”
Slaughter will be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on 12 October.
