Teenager disqualified from driving following pursuit in Bognor

A teenager has been disqualified from driving following a police pursuit in Bognor.
Police were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the Bognor area on Friday, 17 November.
Officers pursued the vehicle which failed to stop on the A259 before it crashed into another vehicle on Chichester Road.
Drugs were found in the stolen vehicle which were then seized.
A 17-year-old from Bersted was arrested was later charged with dangerous driving; driving whilst unqualified and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
He pleaded guilty to all three offences when he appeared before Worthing Youth Court on Thursday, 23 November and was handed a 24 month detention order, and was disqualified from driving for two years.
He was also ordered to pay a £41 victim surcharge and will have to take an extended driving test.
