Leon Chart from Brighton now arrested and charged

Police in Brighton have traced and arrested Leon Chart, who they wanted to interview him on suspicion of coercive and controlling behaviour towards a woman in her thirties as well as assaulting and causing damage at her address in Portslade in May this year, and witness intimidation.
Chart, 40, a builder, of no fixed address, who was arrested in the city on Thursday evening (4 June), appeared in custody at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Saturday (6 June) charged with two offences of causing actual bodily harm, two offences of criminal damage, witness intimidation, and breaching a Domestic Violence Protection Notice.
He was remanded in custody, to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 3 July.
