Hastings man charged with sexual assault and indecent exposure

Police in Hastings have charged a man with sexual assault and indecent exposure.
A woman in her 50s reported being sexually assaulted by a man in her property in Kenilworth Road, St Leonards on Sea on the evening of Friday, 20 October.
An investigation was launched by Hastings’ Criminal Investigation Department and, on Saturday (11 November), 44-year-old Stefan Spall, of Salisbury Road, St Leonards on Sea, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and indecent exposure.
He was subsequently charged with both offences and remanded in custody at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday (13 November).
Spall will next appear at a court to be confirmed on 11 December.
