Heathfield crash pilot named

The pilot who died when his light aircraft crashed near Heathfield, on Tuesday (August 4) has been named as 65-year-old Richard Warriner from Burwash.
His body was recovered from the wreckage of his plane after it came down in open ground off Herrings Lane just after 11am.
The crash is being investigated by the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB).
