Man charged following assault in Bognor

Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with an assault in Bognor.

Officers were called to Crescent Road at around 10.45am on Saturday 9 September to reports of an altercation in the street.

A man in his 60s suffered facial injuries in the incident.

Following enquiries, Ashley Pulleyblank, 33, of Glenelg Close, Bognor, was arrested and later charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, common assault, criminal damage and assault of an emergency worker. 

He appeared before Crawley Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (12 September) and was remanded in custody to next appear at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday 10 October.
