St Leonards man charged with burglary and theft

A man has been charged with burgling a house in St Leonards.
Police received a report of a break-in at a property in Bexhill Road between 10.30pm on June 28 and 6.45am on June 29.
A quantity of cash and other items were stolen from inside the address.
On Friday (August 7), Billy Kent, 20, a sales assistant of Wishing Tree Road, St Leonards, was charged with burglary and theft.
He appeared before Brighton Magistrates' Court on Saturday (August 8), where he was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on September 3.
