Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of threatening behaviour in Crawley.
Officers received reports of a man running towards two teenagers, potentially with a object in his hand, along Bakers Close around 4.40pm on Tuesday (February 8).
The man headed into a nearby park, and police are keen to speak to a woman who was seen in the park around the time of the incident.
PC Fatona said: “Anyone with information which could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to police online or call 101 quoting serial number 862 of 08/02. Alternatively you they can report it anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111.”
A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and being in charge of a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
