Police investigating a report of a burglary at Eridge Green near the Kent border have appealed for witnesses and information.
A large quantity of specialist handcuffs were stolen from the premises during the incident, which is believed to have happened on the evening of Saturday, September 14.
A premises in Kentdale outside the village was broken into and items were taken.
Officers are investigating and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
In particular, they wish to speak with anyone who saw suspicious behaviour or vehicles in the area at the time, or anyone seeing items for sale in shops or online.
Information can be reported to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 441 of 16/09.
