Appeal for witnesses to serious collision in Flimwell

Police are appealing for information after responding to a serious road traffic collision in Hawkhurst Road, Flimwell, on Thursday evening (16 November).

Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the incident which occurred at about 6pm.

The road from the junction with the A21 for about half a mile east, will remain closed overnight and into Friday (17 November) while investigative work is carried out and drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage are asked to report online or ring 101 quoting Operation Colchester.
