Elderly cyclist seriously injured in Hailsham collision

Police are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run in Hailsham.
At around 4.05pm on Wednesday 19 July, a 74-year-old man was knocked off his pedal cycle on Hailsham Road, Magham Down, by a dark coloured vehicle.
He suffered serious injuries including a fracture to the neck, ankle and ribs, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
