Man arrested in connection with Crawley stabbing

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to a stabbing in Crawley.
Officers were called to Berrymeade Walk following an altercation involving two men just before 6pm on Thursday (20 August).
The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered multiple serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 59-year-old man from Crawley was arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody while the investigation is ongoing.
The victim and suspect are known to each other and police are not looking for anyone else in connection to the assault.
