Motorcyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run

Police are seeking witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Northiam.
The incident involving a Harley Davidson and a newer style black Ford Fiesta occurred on the A28 at Northiam, at the junction with New Road, about 12.50pm on Wednesday 26 August.
The motorcyclist – a 63-year-old man from Romney Marsh – sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to Conquest Hospital for treatment; the Fiesta failed to stop at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw either of the vehicles in the area around that time or captured them on dash cam, is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 632 of 26/08.
