Police are appealing for information after a man in his 40s was assaulted near the Queens Hotel in Brighton.
The victim was approached by an unknown man on June 22, at around 3am while stood outside 'Seaside Kebab' in Kings Road.
A knuckleduster or similar weapon was believed to have been used to assault the victim, causing significant facial injuries.
