Police seek witnesses to fatal collision in Eridge, East Sussex

Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Eridge Green.
At 10.10pm on Tuesday ( 23 March) officers responded to reports of a collision involving a blue Ford KA and a black Sinnis Apachi motorcyle on the A26 Eridge Road at the junction with Groombridge Lane.
The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man from Tonbridge, was taken to Kings College Hospital, in London, where he later sadly died. Next of kin have been informed.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage to make contact with them either by email or by calling 101 quoting reference Operation Sound.
A 24-year-old woman from Crowborough has been arrested on suspcion of causing death by dangerous driving. She remains in custody at this time while the investigation is ongoing.
