Witnesses sought to incident outside Burgess Hill pub

Just after 10.15pm on Friday (9 February) police went to Church Walk, Burgess Hill, near the junction with Church Road, where the 13-year-old local girl was standing outside the Six Gold Martletts pub.
An altercation took place between the girl and some people leaving the pub, and she was arrested on suspicion of using racially aggravated abuse and threats, using threatening behaviour, and possession of an offensive weapon - a plastic bottle of bleach.
There were no assaults and no injuries
After being interviewed she was released on police bail until 10 March while enquiries continue.
