NHS Children and Young Person's Care Coordinator (Bexhill)
Your Children and Young Persons Care Coordinator can help with concerns in a variety of areas including general health, mental health, special educational needs, sexual health and sexuality (LGBTQ), bereavement, online safety and safeguarding.
The project looks to increase self-esteem, wellbeing and encourage positive engagement with education as a whole – not just in school.
A range of youth-led activities outside school on a 12-week programme include informal education opportunities such as life skills, creative skills and workshops. They also organise trips to forest schools, alternative education provisions and volunteer opportunities.
