We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault that took place on Pelham Beach, Hastings on Saturday 23 May at around 6.30pm.
It was reported that a man and a woman were assaulted by a group of around eight boys described as aged 16-17 years old after a verbal altercation took place on the beach.
The 35-year-old man and 26-year-old woman suffered injuries and attended hospital for treatment. Both have since been discharged.
Officers are pursuing a number of enquiries in an ongoing investigation and encourage anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has relevant information such as mobile or dashcam footage to come forward.
