Motorist arrested after a motorcyclist was injured in a collision in Eastern Road, Brighton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Eastern Road, Brighton, early on Sunday morning, 28 June.

The motorcyclist, a 27-year-old man from Littlehampton, suffered a serious leg injury in the collision at 4.16am.

A 24-year-old man, from Brighton, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving. He has been interviewed and released under investigation.
