Our road safety data portal publishes a variety of collision, camera and Operation Crackdown data.
Op Crackdown gives the Sussex community an opportunity to report specific instances of anti-social driving and/or riding in Sussex. Launched in 2007, use of Op Crackdown has risen steadily with approximately 900 reports being received each month.
Please visit the Operation Crackdown website to report anti-social driving/riding.
The phrase ‘anti-social driving/riding’ can cover many different behaviours on the road which may include:
It is important to note that Operation Crackdown should NOT be used for emergency situations (such as drink-driving) – these should be reported via the 999 emergency number.
The project also targets specific instances of anti-social behaviour and should not be used for reporting generalised speeding complaints in an area. If you wish to comment on specific roads or areas, you should contact your local highway authority.
If you have been offered the National Speed Awareness Course or another course as an alternative to prosecution for a road traffic offence, please visit the UK Road Offender Education National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme booking page.
Should you wish to find out more information about the governance and development of the courses, please visit the UK Road Offender Education website.
