Speeding / Anti-social driving
Issued 12 June 2026
We are actively addressing concerns around speeding and anti-social driving through a combination of enforcement and intelligence-led policing.
We are regularly conducting proactive road checks in key locations and with the recent introduction of a new speed indication device, we are now equipped to monitor vehicle speeds in separate location and take appropriate action against those exceeding limits.
In addition, we are using information received through the public and Operation Crackdown to identify and target individuals involved in anti-social driving. This intelligence allows us to focus our efforts where they are most needed and take enforcement action such as section 59 warnings or seizing vehicles where necessary.

Anti-social behaviour
Issued 12 June 2026
We are increasing patrols to address this issue in the areas that are predominantly affected. We are engaging directly with those involved to raise awareness of the impact their behaviour is having on the wider community.
Through positive engagement and visible policing, we aim to reduce anti-social behaviour and prevent further tension between residents and those causing issues.
