Your neighbourhood policing team
Local Policing is organised into 3 divisions, each comprising Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) based within district teams. NPTs provide community engagement, foot patrols and assist local and partnership problem-solving. NPTs are led by a District Commander and comprise sergeants, police officers and PCSOs.
These work with youth, licensing and enforcement officers. Also, investigators, specialists, and police staff within divisions and across Sussex Police support NPTs to protect communities and catch criminals.

PCSOs Newberry and Waite-Jones have been in contact with their local councillors and patrols will increase over the summer holidays.
These areas include The Quashetts, Lyons Farm, Queen Street Park and the Manor Cricket Ground.

PCSOs for Broadwater continue to have regular contact with both the Co-op and Tesco Express in Broadwater and Dominion Road to help identify shoplifters and help progress any investigations involving persistent offenders.
