Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a serious collision near Bexhill.
Emergency services responded to the collision involving a grey Vauxhall Vivaro van and a black Kawasaki motorcycle travelling westbound on the A259 Barnhorn Road at about 4.50pm on 7 June.
The collision happened hear the petrol station at the junction with Coneyburrow Lane.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 29-year-old local man, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.
The driver of the van, a 43-year-old local man, was not injured.
Police are investigating the collision and the wider circumstances and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward if they have not already done so.
In particular, anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the vehicles travelling westbound from the Little Common roundabout between 4.40pm to 4.50pm is asked to report it to police.
